Our Philosophy

Freshness:

We aim to roast and ship our coffee beans on the same day, meaning you can't get any fresher than our beans. (The shipping will take care of the de-gassing stage for us)

Flavour:

We've probably spent hundreds of hours roasting and tasting various beans and roast profiles to determine the ones we have on sale, therefore we hope you like them as much as we do!

Fair Trade:

A fascinating part of coffee is understanding where it is grown, and the practises in place for farming, so that everyone is rewarded for the work, as we all know the process of coffee (considering the amount that gets drank yearly) is monumental.

Therefore, we aim to source our beans from fair trade farms, researching every bean and plant we buy from. We think this is a no-brainer and the beans that are supplied are superior to any other beans in our opinion. We've found a truly fantastic organic bean from Columbia which is everyone's favourite here at Andra Coffee.

"My interest in coffee began during the COVID-19 lockdown—because, honestly, what else was there to do? I started with a simple De'Longhi Dedica machine, learning the basics, which quickly opened the floodgates to the vast and fascinating world of coffee."

"Over five years, I deepened my understanding and skills, and what became clear was that while grind settings, timing, and equipment are important, the one variable the consumer can’t control is the bean itself. That’s when I realized the roaster’s role is critical—how the beans are sourced, stored, roasted, and packaged, as well as the timing of each step, all play a significant part in the flavour and extraction."
